I am pleased to introduce a new product in the CookieBoard line: The Cake Model Cookieboard. A customer asked me to make a super sized board used primarily to roll out cake fondant. It will roll out fondant, or any dough, to a consistent thickness across the entire board. This one has a working surface of 24" X 24". The one shown in the picture is an extra large version with a longer rolling pin. The standard rolling pin is 32" long and 1/1/2" diameter solid maple. The working surface is 2 1/2 times that of a standard cookieboard. When I was at the CookieCon last year another vendor asked me to make one for him. He said that a commercial "sheeter" costs thousands of dollars and that I could save him a lot of money with an over seized Cookieboard. Although it is used primarily for fondant, it still has 9 different thickness settings, up to 9/10". There is also the custom option of 18 different thickness settings. Just request that option when ordering. It is guaranteed for one year against defects in material or workmanship. Other sizes are available as a special order.
