FAQs

I list 5 business days as a buffer for custom orders, because all of my edible images and requests need time to make. All of my items arrive in 1-3 business days in the US. Since I use USPS as my carrier, all holidays observed by them will have to be taken into account by the buyer upon purchasing.

I do custom orders with the following information ~ Date the item is needed by Proper spelling of the name or names Amount of items needed Colors to be taken into account, if applicable

Quarter Sheet - All of my edible images are printed onto an 8 1/2" x 11" sugar sheet, which perfectly fit onto the top of a quarter sheet cake. Half Sheet - I've received questions about making images for half sheet cakes. Currently I can offer two 8 1/2" × 11" edible image sheets to cover an entire half sheet cake. For reference images of this process, visit my Facebook page - www.facebook.com/DecoCaboodle

*Application process works best on a freshly iced cake* Do you want it a smaller size or different shape? - If you want a smaller sized image, simply cut it with a pair of clean, dry scissors to the desired size and shape If not, follow these directions. - Carefully remove sheet from its packaging - Peel image off of backing SLOWLY - Lay one edge of the image down on the left or right side of your cake - GENTLY, with clean, dry hands or gloves, press and smooth the image in the direction you started placing it from (L-R or R-L) - Decorate around it with a border and you're DONE! - The image will then "melt" onto your cake, so make sure it is in the correct position

Can the images be frozen? I don't recommend doing so, because they are very fragile. Once they freeze, two things happen. They start to sweat once they are taken back into room temperatures, which causes the colors to bleed with the condensation. Secondly, if the cake starts bowing upon removal from the freezer, the image could crack. Can the images be refrigerated? Yes, but it may have a condensation issues as well, depending on how cold your refrigerator is. The higher the difference in temperatures, the more likely the chance that the image will sweat and bleed colors. How long will they keep? If they are in an airtight container or a zip-lock bag, they should remain fresh until you are ready to use it.

Unfortunately no. All the shipping info and tracking has been attached to the first order. USPS doesn't allow a barcode to be placed on a different package and it doesn't cover the new shipping cost.

I work another full time job, so please be patient or persistent. I try to respond as quickly as possible, but I also have other work.
