This glass gelatin mold was made by McKee Glass sometime between 1942-1953. It is the "Crown" model, which I believe is a reference to its size. (Note that we have a separate listing for the "Queen-Anne" model.) It measures 9.5 inches in diameter, and stands 3.5 inches tall. The center part of this "donut" shape is about 3.5 inches in diameter. This is a thick and heavy piece of glass, weighing in at over four pounds. It is impressed on the top of the center portion: "U.S. PAT. D-133.413, OTHER PATENTS PENDING, GLASBAKE, REG. U.S. PAT. OFFICE, CROWN." The patent was issued in 1942 to its inventor H. I. Kleinberg. This dish is in good vintage condition with minor flea biles on the top inside edge, straw marks, and some table wear to the under side. Some people call this a bundt cake baker, but I think the center portion is larger than what one would expect. This would be a wonderful addition to your vintage kitchen collection.
This glass mold weighs 4 pounds, 0.3 ounces. Shipping weight is 5 pounds, 2 ounces.
Shipping for this item is calculated automatically by Etsy based on your Zip Code. Enter your Zip Code on the "Shipping & Policies" tab and you will see the actual shipping cost to you (usually by USPS Priority Mail) . During checkout you will see available shipping options.
Please feel free to use the "Ask a Question" button if you have any questions about the item itself, or about shipping for this item.
We have converted all of our listings to Etsy's new "calculated shipping" so that when you enter your zip code on the "Shipping & Policies" tab on any listing, you will see the actual cost to ship to you by USPS Priority Mail (normally). When you check out, you will see more detail to include all available shipping options for that particular item. It has been a lot of work to implement, but now there is no more guesswork on shipping costs.
Please note that this new system is not pefect, especially when you purchase more than one item. We reserve the right to change the shipping cost and notify you of the correct cost. Of course, you are under no obligation to complete the purchase if you do not want to accept the new cost, and we will refund your money quickly. In purchasing multiple items, the system might even overcharge you. Rest assured that we recalculate every shipment before mailing, and will refund any excess charge, if it exceeds $1.00.
If you are confused about shipping costs, or wonder if the shipping quote you see is wrong, please use the "Ask a Question" or "Contact Shop Owner" buttons, and we will be happy to answer any questions about shipping or the item itself.
We will ship internationally; however, you must contact us for the shipping cost to any country other than Canada prior to purchase (Canada is included in our current shipping profiles). We will update the listing with your cost as quickly as possible. We take no responsibility for any additional cost associated with international shipments.
We accept Direct Pay through Etsy by credit card, as well as through PayPal. Payment is expected at checkout.

Additional return information
If you are not happy with your purchase for any reason, we will accept returns for shop credit or exchange, but shipping both ways is on you! The only exception to this policy is if the item's condition is substantially different as that described. In that unlikely event, we would refund everything including return shipping. Any returned item must be received in the same condition as sent. Again, I am a reasonable person, so let me know if you have a problem with your item and I will talk with you to resolve the issue. All of our shipments are insured. If yours is damaged, please let us know quickly.
It is the buyer's responsibility to document damaged shipments. Please provide photos of the box unopened if there is obvious damage to it. Also, take photos of the opened box, packing material, and, of course, of the item itself.
