Item details

I should not hoard beads. Me, of all people. But I confess... I have kind of been saving this little guy back. I don't know what it is about Ollie, but he makes me smile every time I see him. Maybe it is his unassuming sleepy owl face.

But now he is ready to fly the coop, so to speak. Ollie is looking for a good owl-loving home.

This bead has transparent silver glass dots on a base of dark ivory creates that 'old treasure map' look, and then each dot is a shimmery pool of metallic flashiness.
The wings and brow are a nice pale champagne green and each wing has a silvered ivory stripe on the outer edge for feathery detail.

3/32" mandrel, hole runs vertically -- 24mm / 0.94"

This lampwork bead was made by me using a propane-oxygen torch to shape the molten glass, followed by 8 hours in the kiln to anneal it. This bead is made "free-form" --- I do not use any molds or forms to create my beads.

This bead is ready for your project. If you would like it wired up to wear as a pendant, please see this listing:

This listing is ready to gift - see the last photo for example gift box (mushroom necklace not included).

Returns & exchanges

I love making beads and jewelry and I hope you love them too! Your satisfaction is guaranteed. Please let me know if there are any problems with your order within five (5) days of receipt.

I will work with you to resolve the situation by offering a full refund or item exchange, minus shipping costs, once the items are returned to me. The item must be returned in original condition for a full refund or exchange. Please convo me to arrange a return or exchange prior to shipment.

I appreciate and thank you for your business. I work hard to create high-quality beads and I select the beads to sell very carefully. I take care to use the best lighting/color matching and offer at least two views of every item. I use a wood ruler and an "in hand" shot to offer a basis for color -- if the ruler or my hand are too red/green/blue than they should be, then monitor differences are the reason.

Please view all photos and read descriptions prior to purchasing to ensure that the bead is the one you want. If you have any questions, please email me prior to purchasing.

Additional policies

I offer a full 100% satisfaction guarantee of my work. Refunds will be granted if the product is not as described in the description and photos, less all shipping costs. Please contact me prior to purchase if you have any questions about my beads or products. Thank you!
