We ship solely via USPS, as all of our systems have been optimized for their services, and they achieve the best price and delivery. Please note that we do not quote USPS arrival times, as they are not within our control. We ship "best way" which will be First Class Mail when below 13 ounces, or Priority Mail otherwise. Priority Mail includes $50 of insurance, we require insurance beyond $50 to be sure that the shipment is protected.
In the event that a package is marked "delivered" by USPS, but is not on your doorstep, we do require that you contact your post office, as they are the ones that will know where it was marked "delivered". We have had mis-delivery happen a couple of times, in both cases, the issues was solved at the local level. Please understand that we have no insight into what happens with USPS in your particular neighborhood.
We do not list international shipping rates, primarily due to the fragile nature of many of our items, and the length of time that items take to arrive internationally. Please feel free to inquire about international shipping. Our general guidance is that if you are not in a particular rush, are able to accept the risk that things may be broken, and understand that duties applied by your country are your responsibility, we should be able to accommodate requests for international shipping.
We accept direct checkout, and PayPal (typically via Direct Checkout). We have not had good luck accepting checks due to the logistics that it adds, but if you have a specific need to pay by check, we will try to accommodate this. Please be aware that shipment cannot take place until the check arrives and clear our bank.
Returns & exchanges
In general, most of our items are personalized, and therefore considered custom and non-refundable. There are of course exceptions to this, which we will try to address below.
ERRORS AND OMISSIONS
While we double-check all personalization and work toward perfection, there is the rare occasion that things go awry. If there is a mistake on your personalized item (spelling error on our part, etc) that is due to our error, it will be replaced immediately in the swiftest manner possible, with shipping included at our expense.
If there was an error on your part that was not discovered until the item was delivered, we cannot be held liable. In most cases we will work with you WHERE POSSIBLE to replace the item at a reduced rate, shipping charges in this case are not at our expense.
We work very hard to be sure your items arrive safe and sound. This includes packaging carefully, and providing insurance for packages when the value is significantly over that provided by USPS Priority Mail.
If an item arrives broken, WE MUST BE NOTIFIED within 48 HOURS OF RECEIPT. Photos of the damage are required to file an insurance claim. We will file a claim for damage on your behalf, and work to provide a replacement right away. The insurance claim will usually require you to sign an online affidavit verifying that that the item(s) arrived damaged, or did not arrive at all, as the case may be.
We are not able to provide estimates as to when an item will arrive at your door. Estimates can easily be looked up for your zip code via USPS.com, shipping from zip code 03811. If you are ordering a very small item, it will ship First Class Mail, everything else ships via Priority Mail.
