60/40 Blue Faced Leicester (BFL)/Silk approximately 310 yards/ 5.0 ounces sport weight, 13-14 wpi singles handspun yarn Fiber from: Corgi Hill Farm
This yarn would make a lovely striped cowl or shawlette. It is spun by striping a gradient braid a few times, then spinning in color sequence for multiple stripes from a red-purple/maroon, though royal purple, tan-grey, peach, pink-orange, and bright pink. It is spun as soft singles, so would not be incredibly durable for something such as socks or mittens and is not recommended for these items. This yarn is incredibly soft and silky, but is not superwash. Hand wash gently in cold water and lay flat to dry unless you wish it to felt.
I try to photograph the colors accurately, but they may appear differently on your screen. This item comes from a smoke-free, cat and dog friendly home, but I try to keep the fiber away from the pets. If you are highly allergic, I recommend buying elsewhere. My schedule varies from week to week, so shipping days vary greatly, but I will always ship out as early as possible. Please check my shop policies for additional information.
I am not an expert on shipping costs, but I want to make it as fair and reasonable as possible. If shipping charges are ever greater than $1 USD more than the actual cost of shipping, I will refund the difference. I ship USPS First Class unless you request otherwise or your package is too large and must be sent Priority. Send me a convo, and I can discuss alternative methods. As a full time student with a schedule that changes from week to week, I CANNOT GUARANTEE ANY SHIPPING DAYS. I cannot predict when I will be able to make it to the post office, though I will go at the earliest time my schedule (and the weather here in the Midwest!) permits. Please note it is possible for it to take a week or more for your item(s) to ship. If you are in a hurry to receive something, please contact me prior to purchasing to make sure I can ship immediately.
If you are ordering internationally, please make note of the increased cost of shipping.
I prefer PayPal, but I know it can be time consuming to set up an account. If you absolutely must pay with a check, select that option during check out, and I will send your order as soon as I have received it and it has cleared with my bank. Cancellations are only accepted due to a failure on my part to provide timely service.
Returns & exchanges
I will accept returns as long as the items have not been used or damaged (on your part) in any way and return shipping costs must be covered by you. Please do not return an item simply if you change your mind. Return items should be for improper representation of the item in my shop or for damage. If an item has been damaged during shipment, please notify me immediately, and provide photo documentation if possible. I will do my best to rectify the situation, providing a replacement or refund where appropriate.
Everything I sell has come through my house which is cat, dog, and hamster friendly. I also work at a vet clinic so bring pet hair home with me all the time. Please do not purchase anything from my store if you are extremely allergic as I can not guarantee 0% pet contact, though I try my best. If you see something you like in my shop, but don't wish to buy it immediately, I will place it on hold for you for a maximum of 7 days. If the order is not placed, I will reopen it to everyone.
