Item details

On Hold

A stunning expertly made embroidery of poppies in a bright orange with luminous green leaves. The embroidery is in excellent condition and was done on a piece of linen. This was hand made probably around the early part of the 1900's as the Arts and Crafts design initiative was making itself known. This poppy embroidery exhibits similarities to the A & C style with it's simplicity of design yet presenting strength with the exceptional employment of the threading and execution.

The main flower is 3" in diameter. The entire piece is 20" high by 18" wide. This is in perfect condition.

A beautiful exceptional antique embroidery that will be a great addition to your collection. This would look wonderful framed and would preserve it for years to come.

I prefer shipping within the USA - simpler and less hassle. But, if you live abroad and want an item email me and I will do it if possible. In the past I have shipped abroad but it is alot more effort in the shipping so I try to avoid it. I do not charge for shipping time or supplies as I most often use recycled materials.

Returns & exchanges

If you are unhappy with your purchase when you receive it, items must be returned within 7 days of receipt, in original condition. Please contact me for more information.
