They are stabilized, as all Turquoise on the market is these days. Stabilization helps maintain the color from environmental discoloration, as well as maintains the integrity of the bead from wear (because Turquoise is very soft).

Tibetan Turquoise is the best quality turquoise on the market besides U.S. mined or Afghan Turquoise (which is not exported from Afghanistan). It is mined high in the mountains between China and Tibet. The color is stunning.

Why don't we offer free shipping? Because I believe in truth in advertising and keeping my prices as low as possible. U.S. SHIPPING: All orders are mailed by First Class Parcel Post with a tracking number. I ship via PayPal. You will not automatically receive the tracking number from me. If you desire the number, please write me and it will be provided as soon as conveniently possible.

PRIORITY and EXPRESS UPGRADE: You will find that option on shipping when you check out.

POSTAGE OVERAGES: Postage overages above $3.00 (outside of the postage and shipping/handling) will be automatically refunded.

LOST PACKAGES: I will not reimburse on an item that has a delivery confirmation. If I have a delivery confirmation on your package, you will need to go to your post office and file a lost package claim before I can help due to fraud. (International customers: Once it leaves control of the USPS - especially if mailed to an area that is well known for "lost packages" - I cannot to replace the item. You ship at your own risk, but speak to me and we'll see what we can do.)

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: I ship worldwide! All items are mailed by International First Class Package with a tracking code on International orders (to the US border). Please allow up to to 6 to 8 weeks for international packets to arrive, as a missing item form cannot be submitted until AFTER 6 weeks have passed (most will arrive sooner). Be aware, a customs form is required by law. I will not mark it as a gift and you may be charged a duty by your country's Customs Office. If you have questions regarding customs, please contact me. I can accommodate.

International Shipping enjoys a flat rate! Postage is as follows:

Canada/All Other Countries - Gemstone: $12.50
Canada/All Other Countries - Brass: $13.50
Canada/All Other Countries - All other Items: $10.00

OTHER INFO: Orders are mailed anywhere from 3-5 business days from your date of purchase/payment. Shipping occurs Monday through Friday. If you need your order expedited (mailed sooner than its shipping window), please message me and I will ship it out sooner if at all possible.

SHIPPING LOSSES: When a shipment is lost and is confirmed by the USPS, I will replace your items. If an item is marked "delivered" by the USPS, I will NOT replace the items. You will have to file a claim with the USPS for compensation.

SHIPPING BREAKS: When a break occurs during shipping, I will replace if possible. Understand that the break occurred because of negligence by the USPS, not my shop. While I make every attempt to ensure your satisfaction, breaks occur. If the item is under $5.00, I will consider replacing it. If the item occurs on higher priced items, I will take the matter under advisement after you contact me with photographs.

I accept all major credit and debit cards. Credit cards are processed through Paypal or Etsy's Direct checkout.

I do not charge taxes. I will not ship unless payment has been made. You can cancel your order anytime before shipping has occurred. After shipping has occurred, you will have to return the package to me before I can cancel and refund.

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

International customers: I will not refund packages returned to me for unpaid customs fees. Etsy advises sellers to value packages at purchase price and in US dollars. I declare according to Etsy policy and do not include shipping in that declaration.

I am happy to exchange! I will not charge you for postage to ship an exchanged item. (You will pay the postage to me and I'll pay for the postage back to you. This is a common business practice). If the item being replaced is due to my error, I will happily pay all the postage involved.

After inspection of the items being returned or exchanged, you will either receive your credit for the return or your exchange will be shipped. I cannot accept broken strands, opened packages, or damaged goods.

If an item I have created fails due to my workmanship and/or materials used, upon my inspection, I will replace or refund.

MULTI-STRAND DISCOUNTS: The multi-strand discounts on African Brass CANNOT BE COMBINED WITH OTHER DISCOUNT COUPON CODES. SALE ITEMS: I will host sales on groups of items or single items quarterly. When I do, the sale is specific to that group of items. When you group non-sale items onto an invoice with sale items, you allow the code to be applied to non-sale items. If this happens, I will bill you the difference between sale and non-sale items in addition to the PayPal fee.

In order to avoid PayPal charges, please consider placing the orders separately. In the "note to seller" please add you have placed two orders one for sale items and one for non-sale items and I will refund your shipping on the second order (except for the per item charge). WHOLESALE BEADS/TOOLS/STRANDING MATERIALS/FINDINGS: I require a Sales Tax/Use License in your name. My minimum purchase is $100.00 retail. REPAIRS: I perform repairs on many types of jewelry included off loom weaving, wirework, knotted pearls, stringing repairs, and/or some hot fixes and cold contact fixes. Send me pictures and I'll quote you a price and try with all my heart to stick to that quote. I charge $20.00 per hour plus parts and materials. If I need to go over the quote for any reason, I always contact you first to confirm. I've been repairing for over 13 years, I get the job done fast and right the first time.
