• 1-1/2” clamping surface at each end with hardened steel clamping pads
• easily mounted on your work table with clamps*
Tines are set into 0.5” solid metal bar; this allows me to accurately place very small diameter pins very close together without causing wood tearout. The solid metal comb is bolted into the hardwood base, providing a superior hold to that of glues or resins. If you’re like me, you don’t need one more pointy thing lying around the house: this hackle is designed so that the comb can be securely attached, removed for storage and interchangeable with other combs.

The Beauty of Wood… all my creations are handmade with exotic or domestic hardwoods. Each piece is unique and may have natural imperfections such as knots, ambrosia, spalting, mineral streaks and/or wormholes. Stain color, consistency and vibrancy will vary between species and from piece to piece. These variations provide character and make your purchase a one-of-a-kind addition to your fiber processing toolbox.
Environmental sustainability… all wood has been sourced from sustainably managed forests or from trees that have died from natural causes (lol). Every effort is made to reduce the use of water, energy and waste in the creation of my products. All packaging materials can be recycled, and contains post-consumer recycled content whenever available.
