Item details

This wonderful coat or suit button is vintage 1940's or early 1950's. It is made of clear plastic, possibly Lucite, and back painted with rust orange and metallic gold. There is also metallic gold painted on the surface of the plastic. The button is cast in a detailed dimensional shape and has a glued on brass toned metal backing plate and shank. This button is simply gorgeous.

The diameter of the button is 1 1/8" (2.8 cm). The button is in very good vintage condition. The metal backing plate shows some vintage patina and scuffing.

The shipping rates quoted for any particular item at The Costume Consortium are based on current USPS First Class/Economy and USPS First Class International rates. I am always happy to accommodate individual shipping needs so please feel free to contact me if you would like expedited shipping. The Costume Consortium picks up the additional expense of insurance on expensive and valuable items. I endeavor to find the most economical and when possible "green" way to pack and send your shipment. Often for small items a padded envelope meets the best criteria. For the Holiday Season I am happy to ship your gift directly to the recipient and to offer free gift wrapping as a Holiday thank you for your purchase from The Costume Consortium.
