A lovely set of three amber depression glass nesting mixing bowls produced by Federal Glass. These three bowls nest into each other, perfect for storage or display in any cabinet! Federal Glass would have made these in the 1940's, and they have remained in excellent condition since then!
Each bowl features vertical ribs that come out to an edge, and a rounded sqaure footed bottom. The rolled edge is perfect for a sturdy grip and resisting chipping. Though much depression glass was not made to last, the way these bowls were produced makes them more durable. We are certain these were additionally used very little, as the only wear they have experienced is some internal fissuring on a small section of the largest bowl's rim, as shown in image 5.
In beautiful condition, with stunning coloring, these bowls would be wonderful for the federal glass collector or admirer, for use or display!
