Encyclopedia Galactica -From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia: The Encyclopedia Galactica is a fictional or hypothetical encyclopedia, containing all the knowledge accumulated by a galaxy-spanning civilization. The name evokes the exhaustive aspects of the real-life Encyclopedia Britannica.
This newest line from Andover Fabrics "Encyclopedia Galactica" is Digitally Printed, meaning you'll get more realistic and detailed prints that wash well.
This Panel has two images: The Astrological Globe, aprox. 19" tall and 15" wide, and the Southern Hemisphere Star Constellation Map (I believe possibly based on the engraving published by the Geographical Institute Justus Perthes in Gotta, Germany, 1911 for the French edition of Stieler's Atlas?) Star Map is 19" x 19"
The panel has a slightly creme marbled background, with black and gray shaded print. 100% woven cotton, cut from the bolt - the cut will measure aprox. 23" wide x 44" to allow room on either side of the panel images for cutting however you wish. Multiple panels bought will be one continuous piece side to side and there is about 4 1/2" of 'blank' space.
Please visit my shop for more from this collection! I have both panels and the full black and white colorways.
