Long shuttle for Singer machines or similar style, not all machines.
27, 127, 28, 128
Comes with a page of helpful directions about winding long bobbins and threading the shuttle.
Does not include long bobbin, they are available in my shop.
Threading a long shuttle may be difficult for you the first time so I have photographed the steps. The thread must be taut as you pull down and up so it slips into place. Your left index finger must be in the top opening of shuttle to hold the bobbin from moving as you pull down then up on the thread. Look closely at the photographs.
The last photo shows a new shuttle in the carrier of a machine. To insert into the machine start with the tip, point it into the front and will drop into place. If the bobbin does not just drop into place as shown it will not work. I found that this long bobbin did not work in my 1889 Singer model VS2, the back end did not fall into place. You cannot force it, it will not work.
