Lot consists of 3 thin aluminium disks. The middle one is nearly identical to the other two, but lacks the countersunk holes the other two have.
Salvaged/reclaimed from scrap computer hard drives.
1 1/4" in outside diameter.
Where we get these: One of Bear's business ventures is salvage, and part of that business consists of processing e-waste. Normally, hard drives are cut or otherwise destroyed, then shredded. However, Bear processes them differently, and as a result has the opportunity to salvage unique & funky internal components that would otherwise be destroyed.
If you have ever taken apart a hard drive, you know it can be time consuming. Also, to get a lot of 6 identical rings like this is not easy to do, as there are usually only 1 or two in every drive, and they tend not to be identical from drive to drive.
