Item details

• McCall {now known as McCall's / McCalls }
• iron on embroidery cross-stitch transfer pattern # 1291 / #1291
• The Pheasants Kaumagraph transfer © 1946
• vintage 1940s original uncut and factory folded - not a reproduction or copy
• will arrive in an acid free resealable cello pattern keeper for continued safe storage

The pattern has no staining or ghosting, excellent A+ minty condition (any discoloration at the creases in photos are just the shadows that my camera is picking up). The envelope edge has some age discoloration, one corner has a soil mark, and a few minor tears. Amazingly good condition for 70+ years old.

Some fun facts: McCall Pattern Company was started in 1870 by Scottish tailor James McCall. He instituted many cutting-edge pattern progressions -- dating his pattern envelopes, and as well as the printed pattern (instead of just a pattern shape the pattern also included all the printed instructions on the pieces.) The company name was changed to McCall's in 1955.

Estimated Shipping
Shipping to
Zip or postal code

- Within the contiguous United States.
- All items ship USPS unless otherwise stated.
- I strive for shipping within 24 hours, but no later than 2 business days from payment.
- You will be notified when your order has shipped, and tracking info will be provided.
- Please remember that USPS can take anywhere from 3-10 business days. I do not have control over the speed of the shipment once it is delivered to the post office. If you have time constraints, please notify me prior to purchase and I will be happy to provide a quote for FASTER SHIPPING OPTIONS.
- The shipping fee will include delivery via USPS First Class Mail or Parcel Post + Delivery Confirmation + Insurance on purchases over $50 or if item is sent by Priority Mail. Remaining funds of $1.00 or more from the shipping fee will be refunded to the buyer via PayPal. Shipping fees in excess of stated amount will be paid for by me. I am more than happy to reserve a listing for you and adjust the shipping to state the shipping cost based on your delivery ZIP code if you'd prefer prior to checkout.
- I use the least expensive shipping method, which is generally first class mail for items 13 ounces or less. If the item is a heavier one I will likely use USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate since parcel post goes by both size and weight and it adds up quickly. I have found that Priority Mail can often be several dollars less than parcel post and an additional perk is that Priority Mail will arrive much more quickly than parcel post (which can take up to 9 business days for delivery).
