Here's what Steve Hay from wood working masterclass has to say:

"Several months ago I was asked to try a new ‘Food Safe’ finishing wax called 'Mind Your Beeswax'.

I get asked to try many products as a result of my Woodworking Masterclass TV Show, YouTube Channel and Twitch Stream appearances.
Although I don’t take all offers up I am really happy to report that this particular product fulfils all the expectations I
look for in a finishing wax/oil required for kitchen utensils and accessories.

It starts with the appealing presentation of the hexagonal glass jar, being representative of the bee hive design. Once opened the theme continues with the pungent aroma of fresh honey and then the texture of the product as it is applied. The finish is velvety smooth with no lumps or gritty bits to spoil the tactile surface that has been liberally coated. It leaves a soft mild sheen and silky smooth residue for lasting protection of timber products.

Best of all it’s made right here in Australia.

I would highly recommend it for kitchen woodware."

It is made from only two ingredients:
Beeswax - A natural wax that surrounds the honey in a beehive
Mineral Oil - A food safe oil that will not spoil over time, think of baby oil but without the fragrances.
(olive oil, canola oil and other "food" oils will go rancid over time and should not be used)

The honey aroma is from the natural oils still present in the wax, no chemicals were added. The delicate process and attantion to detail ensures that these oils do not escape the wax.

It's simple and easy to use, simply "wax on then wax off."

This jar will cover a large number of cutting boards.
