Item details

The text of the fashion magazine, in which this pattern was originally published praises this to be a simple dress with timeless charm and this is indeed the essence of this garment. It has beautiful, feminine shape, which is never out of style, a flattering, wide square neckline and the decorative puffed sleeves and the ribbon embellishments add just enough interesting touches into this design to make it memorable. This model also leaves a lot of room for the sewist's own creativity: it can be made using many kinds of solid colored or printed fabrics and the ribbons can be chosen according to one's own taste and ideas. The result can by an elegant, discreet dress or a shrill garment or anything in between. This versatile dress model is practical enough for everyday use, but it can also be made of finer fabrics and used in formal occasions.

This is a ready-made, complete printable pattern of a dress from the 1930's. The pattern was published in February 1932 in German fashion magazine called „Modenzeitung fürs deutsche Haus“.
