Item details

Learn how to make a cute and sturdy knit pouf with this photo tutorial. The pattern uses jersey yarn (made from eco-friendly T-shirt leftovers), which will take a lot of wear and tear with very little pilling. It's a great material for making poufs.

The pattern also explains how to stuff the pouf with either soft or firm fillings.

There are two sizes shown: LG (16x12 inches) and XLG (18x13 inches). Both are great sizes for footrests or low seats.

The pattern comes as a PDF file, which should become available to download as soon as your payment clears.

This is not the actual knit pouf! If you are interested in purchasing a finished knit item, please message me for a custom order.

Difficulty: Moderate. You will need to know how to knit in the round. You will also need to know how to do a M1 increase and a K2TOG decrease, although it is briefly explained in the pattern. There is also a little bit of assembly required to stuff the pouf.

Cost: The T-shirt yarn I use costs $11.50 per cone. It takes 2 cones to make the large size, and 3-4 to make the XLG size. The needles can cost anywhere from $10-$30. Stuffing can be free if it's a household item or up to $25 for a sheet of foam.
