Item details

This is Mulberry (Bombyx) silk in brick form. It is a wide combed top that wraps neatly up into a bundle thus the term "brick" as that is about the size of this 100% silk. This silk comes from Bombyx Mori L worms that only eat Mulberry leaves resulting in a premium quality silk that has a lot of luster and is very fine and super soft. I have hand painted this silk in a colorway I call "DANDY". This silk contains a rainbow of bright, rich colors.

You are buying approximately 1.53 ounces of this stunning 100% premium grade silk. Spin many yards of lovely lace yarn or blend with other fibers to get the richness, luster and strength of the silk integrated with a soft fiber such as cashmere, alpaca, or other fine wool.

Note: I do combine shipping on multiple items but they need to be paid for together – Please wait to pay until you are through shopping and then ask for a combined invoice. International buyers are responsible for any customs fees their country might charge. I usually take close up photos. Please read the description to determine what you are buying and review my shop policies- I don't want you to be disappointed in your purchase.

PLUM CRAZY FIBER ART is the home of furry French Angora Rabbits, mini long haired dachshunds, and creations including lots of wonderfully soft and exotic fibers in both natural and a variety of hand painted and dyed colors, hand spun yarns, felting supplies including Artfelt Paper, santa beards and doll hair, and other fibery creations. I do most of my own dyeing and spinning. I can offer bulk pricing on many of my items and also do custom spinning.
