I am selling 2 Spicebush Plants. They are 12-18" in height and are rooted in 4" containers. Size-6-12' in height with a similar spread at maturity. Rate-slow to medium. A good shrub for the border or naturalizing. Excellent for moist soil areas and semi-shady spots, in the full sun it makes a splendid plant in flower and fall color; a harbinger of spring. Flowers-dioecious, greenish yellow, to early to mid-April before the leaves. Planting instructions with each purchase. Tenn., Dept., of Agriculture #14698.
These little bushes are a good deal. One of the two I bought has really taken hold and is growing rapidly. The other is just hanging on. I do not blame the seller for that. Lousy weather kept me from getting them in the ground quickly. The plants were very root heavy and I think keeping them in the pots for a long time was not a good idea. I would buy from this seller again.

The spicebush plants came very well packaged and were very healthy. They are doing very well. In fact, they are bigger and look healthier than 2 spice bush plants that I planted last year. Can't wait to see if any butterflies notice them this year.
