Step back in time to the year 1915. Bespoke garments, professional tailoring, World War I military influence, high fashion in New York and Paris, these all figure in to the sophisticated traveling suit. The pattern consists of a jumper and a jacket, perfect for train travel, motor car, or carriage. The design even incorporates the latest technology, a new-fangled zipper!
The Jacket features Princess seams, a shaped waistline, and a flared below hip-length peplum for a very flattering feminine shape. The Jumper has pleats and tuck-tapers, V neck, a zipper and a buckle detail for adornment. Only 58" (148 cm) wide fabric (or wider) is suitable for making it. The Jumper is calf length.
The patterns have cutting lines for sizes 6 through 20.
Folkwear has been around for a long time and still is. This pattern is new, not vintage. Ursula's Alcove is a licensed dealer.
