Item details

This primitive angel doll Rosebud made her debut in the Winter 2015 issue of PRIMS Magazine, a Stampington publication. I am honored to have had much of my work published by them! Rosebud measures just about 18 inches tall when complete. She is an easy design, and fun to make!!

You can use your imagination to dress her up or dress her simply, as she is here!!

I used sheep's wool for her hair, andrusty wire for her halo. She could be made as just a doll, too, rather than an angel. For her wings you can use either a piece of an old quilt, or make a wing with a piece of batting and a piece of muslin or osnaburg.

Pattern includes color pictures and full instructions for making the doll and her clothing, as well as my grunging technique.

Thank you for visiting Crows in the Attic Primitives!! Permission is granted to sell the finished dolls made from this design, but PLEASE DO NOT OFFER IN WHOLESALE VENUES.

My gosh, this Seller is amazing and her sweet dolls are so cute and loving! I probably have over thirty of her patterns and find them all to be easily understood and accurate. Her articles and contributions to PRIMS Magazine are invaluable and she has shared numerous personal comments and suggestions on sewing with Primitives. Thanks, Trudy, for all your help and your creative love for patterning.
