I made these in the middle 1950's for 4 coats for family members. These are squares from 2 of the coats that have been dismantled to make other items for keepsakes. They are 4.5" squares of wool yarn.
All are in good shape but need to be carefully removed from the joining yarn rows.
There are 55 squares. Enough for a nice throw or a purse or some hats. Or whatever magical item you can come up with. I know they have magic in them because they were worn by my grandmother and mother.
I'm also adding a vintage tote that I made several years ago to store them in which is acrylic yarn. Nothing special but a good storage for the squares and is really no included in the price.
