Item details

Milkweed is a beautiful wildflower that is often used in home gardens to attract butterflies. It is the host plant for the monarch butterfly caterpillar. Since monarchs are in a huge crisis of decline in numbers it is a great plant to help them out. The wild milkweed populations have been killed off by the use of herbicides in agriculture such as roundup which is broadcast on a lot of food crops. This listing is for scarlet or yellow flowering milkweed. 50 seeds!
