This is a simple, but glamorous evening dress. The text in the magazine says that it is extraordinarily flattering on larger women. The dress has flowing lines and small puff sleeves typical to the late 1930's and early 1940's. The pattern is very versatile and it can also be used to make shorter dresses for day wear. The decoration can be varied as well or left out entirely.
This is a ready-made, complete printable pattern of an evening dress from the 1930's. The pattern was published in December 1936 in a German fashion magazine called „Deutsche Moden-Zeitung“. The pattern is made to fit a person with the following measurements: bust: 112 cm or 44 ins, waist: 96 cm or 38 ins and hip: 120 cm or 47 ins, but due its simple form the model is very easy to enlarge or make smaller.
