Ken-Tool wrench farm oil implement multi tool Good condition
This is a fuel oil cut-off tool. I believe it's from the 1940's (or maybe earlier), when heating oil was delivered to homes and farms in tank trucks.
The guy I got this from told me about using it on delivery truck valves and tank plugs on his family's farm when he was a kid. The valves weren't standard sizes, so they had to be ready for whatever size and shape the truck had. This tool kept them from having to carry around several wrenches.
This wrench was made by “KEN TOOL” and is marked “G-30”.
It's made of steel, and measures 9-5/16” long by 1-11/16” at the widest point. It has 4 hexagonal sizes nested in two locations (¾” and 1” at one end; 1”, and 1-1/8” at the other) and 3 square sizes (1/2”, 5/8”, and 3/4”.) These are 8-point stars.
