The 'Across the Diamond' Blanket KNITTING PATTERN is easy to knit with super bulky weight yarn and big needles.
Pattern includes directions for FIVE sizes:
Approximate sizes after blocking...
= XL: 48" wide x 52" long
= Large: 41" wide x 47" long
= Medium: 37.5" wide x 42" long
= Small (Crib/Lap): 34" wide x 37" long
= Baby: 30.5" wide x 32" long
It is easy to make any of the blankets longer. Tips included in the pattern instructions.

SKILL LEVEL: Easy
You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit and purl confidently, read a row by row knitting pattern, bind off stitches and weave in ends.
This project is knit flat back and forth on US size 13 circular knitting needles. Long circular needles are needed to hold the large number of stitches.
Blocking of finished knitting is recommended.
This pattern is written in standard U.S. knitting terms. Row by row knitting instructions.

XL: 1000 - 1100 yards
Large: 740 - 800 yards

Small (Crib/Lap): 500 - 540 yards
Baby: 380 - 410 yards
Solid color yarn is recommended.
