A complete guide to every aspect of rugmaking, with detailed diagrams, patterns and explicit instructions for over 50 projects in every possible technique including: hand-hooked; punch-needle; latch-hooked; braided; needlepoint; woven; rya and flossa; knitted and crocheted; and appliqued. Additionally: technical hints and suggestions; trims and finishing techniques; joining canvas; rug frames; designing a rug; dyeing fabric; how to draw an oval; how to divide any line into equal parts; how to make a star; and enlarging or reducing a design. Charted patterns, black & white and color drawings and photographs.
Book measures approx 11" tall by approx 8-5/8" wide x approx 3/4" thick, and weighs approx 2 pounds. There are 168 pages.
It is in generally good condition, and with the exception of the associated marks and stamps etc of formerly belonging to a public library, the pages are clean and unmarked. There is a small tear of the gutter at the bottom of the inside back cover, approx 2", but binding is tight and secure.
