The feathery plumes of the Astilbe are always at home in the cottage garden. This variety looks wonderful towards the middle front of the border. Astilbe are even good at the waters edge as prefer moist soil rather than dry. Similar to most varieties of Astilbe, it suffers rarely from disease or insect infestation and can be relied on to bring colour to your garden year after year.



Perfect for gardeners with clay or boggy soil, astilbe loves heavy soil and moisture. It will flower July to September so you will get some colour towards the end of the summer season and if conditions are right, possibly into early autumn. This variety will reach an approximate height and spread of 75cm (30 inches) depending on the fertility of your soil. It is happy positioned in full sun or shade. Can be grown in containers and makes an excellent cut flower.

I will put right any issue. All I ask is a photo of any damage so that we can address any problems with our couriers.


POSTAGE & PACKING

We despatch within 24/48 hours of purchase using either a 24 hour courier or economy service depending on the listing.

We ask that customers requiring delivery to Highlands, NI, CI, Jersey etc, contact us in advance of purchase to ensure we can deliver to you at a reasonable cost.

No P.O. Box Deliveries.

We only send to paypal specified addresses unless you state otherwise, in which case, this is at your own risk.

Due to overwhelming requests, we now instruct our couriers to leave your parcel in a safe place or with neighbour - this is at your own risk...

...if you do not want us to do so, please ensure you message us as soon as you purchase or pop a note on your paypal payment. We can also arrange for your parcel to be delivered to your local post office or collection!


ABOUT US

We are a small nursery a stones throw from Sandingham on the beautiful Norfolk Coast. Many of our plants are home grown and when we buy in to extend our product range, we use only reputable local suppliers who grow their plants to our exacting standard. We are always listing new plants so do follow us on ebay when you leave feedback. You will then be notified when we list anything.

Starting on the 1st December each year I make handmade high quality wreaths and floral arrangements which I sell to local retailers and on ebay.

PACKING Our packing is very well thought out and we are told frequently that it is the best customers have ever seen. Damgages are therefore minimal. If in the unfortunate event there are any issues with your order you can contact us for prompt resolution. We do put right issues however we need photographic evidence of any plant damaged and the outer box so that we can address any problems with our couriers and ensure the this does not happen again. Any damages must be reported through ebay messages within 24 hours of receipt.

SHIPPING We try to despatch within 48 - 72, however, at busy times it can take longer so please please do tell us if you need your item by a set date. We believe it is more important to ensure that customers receive their plants in tip top condition rather than rushing orders through. Therefore if you need an order urgently, please contact us through Etsy messages so that we can try our best to accommodate this; prefably before you hit the purchase button. During late Spring - Summer or when weather conditions are extremely hot, we will delay despatch of your goods if your plants are likely to be in the post over the weekend.

PROBLEMS WITH STOCK If when we come to despatch your item there is a concern with its health or it has been damaged by frost or other weather conditions, we will not send the plant. We will contact you to establish if you would like a substitute or a refund or to ask if you would like to wait for the plants to recover or for us to obtain some stock from another local nursery. WBeing a natural product growing in the elements we simply cannot guarantee that from time to time a variety may not be suitable for sale. We hope that you will respect that we do not wish to send anything to a customer when it is clearly not in
