Item details

This booklet contains weaving patterns for a variety of different designs, sizes, and styles of stuffed monster. Ranging from a small 3 inch (or 7cm) tall monster, to larger ones that stand a foot tall (30cm) or more. There are a variety of methods included in this guide that will give you a chance to grow a monster family, and maybe even learn a thing or two about different weaving techniques along the way. Whether you are using a rigid heddle loom, a multi harnessed floor loom, or even a simple weaving frame, there will be something you can make from this guide.

Contained within this guide are three patterns for three different aproaches to making a stuffed monster:

The Minimonster: can be woven on anything that can weave a plain weave cloth 2.5 inches (6.5 cm) wide and 6 inches (15 cm) long.
The Bigger Monster: can be woven on anything that can weave a plain weave cloth that is atleast 4 inches (10 cm) wide and 10 inches (25 cm) long.
The No-Sew Monster: requires a 4 harness loom (that is not counter ballanced).

The materials that you will need include:

Weaving Equipment
Buttons (for 'Bigger Monster' and 'No-Sew Monster' patterns)

The weaving patterns will assume that you have a basic understanding of how to use the weaving equipment that you are working with, but I have also included a list of terms, if you are unfamiliar with any of the language I use.
