Antique Ceramic Rectangular Light Switch circa 1920's historical salvage from a house that I deconstructed.
The switch works well.
What I find most interesting is the craftsmanship of the rocker switch that was manufactured in 1923 by the Bryant Corp.
I salvaged this historical house in 2014 so this switch was used in an upstairs bedroom for 91 years and still works.
Some of the ceramic is chipped and you can see hairline crazing in the thumb lever.
What an unique conversation piece to have around your home for people to play with and see first hand what Made In The USA really was in the 1920's.
It measures 4" long x 1 1/2" wide x 1 3/4" high and weighs 3.4 oz.
I always do the least amount of cleaning allowing for your preference to achieve the look you want. There is always acquired character from years of use.
I am a hoarder at heart and will be listing many more salvaged finds as I eliminate my piles of collectibles.
