Yet another member of my new collection, "Get Your Freak On!" comes "The Four-Legged Girl." This is the size LARGE paper doll; she measures approx. She stands nearly 11 inches tall and at her widest she measures 4 1/2(assembled). She comes put together, using simple, but elegant silver-coated brads. While she is meant for art, she has very playful intentions.
She is a reproduction of a pencil drawing I did. She is printed onto a high quality, recycled antique white cardstock using 100% windpower. Aside from her four legs, she comes with a doll and a travelling cosmetics case. I like to think she ran away to join the circus and used all four legs to do so!
I embrace international customers; in fact, I absolutely adore the idea of my art, esp. these paper dolls and all their personalities, travelling the globe whereas, I myself, the struggling artist that I am, cannot afford to do so. There are two options for international customers: 1.) Convo before purchase and I will create a custom listing for you with any additional shipping charges applied. 2.) Perhaps you are worried that the item will sell out? Or used to the extra shipping charges? Either way, you can go ahead and buy the item, BUT expect a pay pal (or other) invoice billing you for the difference in postage; once I receive ALL payments in full, I will promptly post your package.
All else, I say that I need one week after receipt of purchase to process and ship your order (however it rarely takes me longer than one business day). Your paper doll will be inserted into a cello sleeve and further supported by chipboard. This will be placed inside yet another envelope, one that is stiff and marked obsessively in red with the instructions, "Do Not Bend!!!" When possible, I reuse whatever packaging materials that I can.
Thank you ever so much for looking and more so for buying handmade! We simply can't afford not to in this day and age!

Shipping & policies
As is posted, I ship first class. If you'd like another method and are willing to pay for it, contact me and we can arrange for it. I am not responsible for any loss or damage brought about by the post office and postal service. I embrace international customers, but please contact me first so we can figure out any additional shipping expenses that might apply. If you are concerned that the item will sell out, go ahead and purchase, but expect a possible pay pal invoice billing you for the difference in shipping (if it applies); I cannot ship your product until I receive this payment as well. I try to reuse shipping materials when I can; this includes everything from the tissue paper to the bubble wrap. I say in my individual listings that you should allow up to one week after receipt of payment for me to process and ship your order. I also point out that it rarely takes that long--in fact, I think on average I ship the same day. Some orders require special packaging. I am a student, a writer, a mother, and I have a chronic pain condition, so I try to give myself some wiggle room. If you read this and need your order rushed out, please tell me in the buyer's message. I will confirm directly whether or not that will be possible, which typically should be no problem.
I accept all forms of payment. I am also open to trade--show me yours and I'll see if I'm interested in trading you mine.
Returns & exchanges
Contact me with your complaint and we will see what can be arranged. I seek to satisfy. I feel that these issues can be specific and very personal, so I'd rather deal with them on an individual basis. The one issue I cannot be held responsible for is any loss or damage that was brought about by the post office and postal service.
I am happy to provide a lay away plan if you so need it. I can't see this applying to low-priced items, but for original art work, the pillows maybe, and the wall hangings. Contact me for details.
