Vintage-Style Floral Corner
This project, when completed, measures about 11” wide x 7 1/2” high. It’s designed to be used to decorate the corner of a tablecloth or the two ends of a table runner or dresser scarf. I’m certain it could be used in other ways, as well… perhaps repeated four times, in a square (diamond?) to make a center design in a table cloth as well. Just use your creative juices!
To complete this project you will need:
An embroidery needle
An embroidery hoop
Fabric markers, Crayola washable markers or an iron-on transfer pencil
With your purchase, you will get the pattern (in black and white), a reverse pattern, basic instructions (including floss colors, stitching styles, and the number of strands to use), and a color photo of the completed project for your reference.
For an excellent how-to guide to a variety of embroidery stitches, I recommend going to www.dmc-usa.com. If I happen to use a stitch not explained there, I will do my best to include a description of the stitch in my instructions.
I welcome questions! If you run into a problem or need to know something I failed to include here, please contact me through LadeesStitchery Conversations. I’ll do what I can to help out!
Thank you for visiting my shop! If you purchase this pattern, please enjoy it freely for your own personal use. I ask, however, that you pass along the information about my Etsy store rather than the pattern. Please refrain from selling items made using this pattern as well. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!
