“Tickled pink to see tree bark gettin’ new respect these days. I don’t mean becuz of those Tree Huggers tryin’ to save the trees. I’m talkin’ ‘bout the poor pieces of bark that end up on the ground for one reason or another – deer rubbin’ their antlers, woodpeckers peckin’, lightning strikin’. I’m pickin’ up the pieces so they can have another life,” Gramma Kakie
Give this bark another life in an art project, picture frame, wreath decoration, ornament or anything else you can imagine! There are 10 pieces of bark from various trees on my property. No trees were harmed in the process. The longest piece is 6.5 inches and the widest piece is 2.5 inches. Some of the pieces are fragile, but they are all washed and dried.
