“Gatherin’ acorns for flour makin’, but the squirrels got a little upset with me. I think they were tossing those darn nuts from the trees, and hit me on the head a couple of times . . . or it could’ve just been the wind. I’m sayin’ squirrels,” Gramma Kakie
Here is a gathering of dried acorns and caps, enough to fill this 5 x 21/2 x 3 inch box (box not included). This is a great collection of various size acorns from my oak trees that have been dried for about 6 months. These acorns are great for craft projects, table scatter, botanical exhibits and fairy gardens.
Although acorns are edible, these are not edible quality acorns. Some of the acorns have tiny holes where something escaped, but not to worry, the guests are long gone. The last photo shows a basket decorated with woodland materials, including the acorns. Photo props not included.
