“Always a little taken aback when I pick one of these things up. Not sure if it is an animal or a nut. Might need to get some new spectacles,” Gramma Kakie
Actually, these large Burr Oak Acorns can resemble something else with just a little embellishment. Do you see a hedgehog? An Alaskan Native Papoose (photo 2) ? Something else that I can’t think of right now?
This listing is for five large acorns in their natural state. Pictures two and three are examples of what you can do with them (papoose not included). You can also use them as a natural botanical element in table scatter, wreath decoration or flower arrangement. I have seen them used for bird nests, minus the actual acorn. Twig and leaf photo props not included unless you just really want them.
