Very beautiful Crochet Blanket inspired by Native American designs.
This pattern uses the Afghan Stitch. Two long panels in afghan stitch with cross stitch designs worked along each one using chart and color key. Other rows are worked in hdc and dc.
You will need Size J afghan hook, Size I Crochet hook and tapestry needle. Pattern uses worsted-weight machine-washable wool. (but i think acrylic yarn is fine.) Colors used: Cream, Neutral, Yellow, Brick, Brown, and Jade This is a very ambitious project! Finished blanket, approximately 50" x 70"
