Item details

This Tamblyn style pen is made of ebony, maple, rosewood, and mahogany. The colors of the original woods shine through a glossy clear coating with no dyes or stains added or needed. The finger grip is thicker than the average pen for your comfort.

The flange is hand formed brass set permanently in epoxy at an upward tilt to help you make smooth upstrokes and flourishes. It comes ready to write with a Hiro 41 nib and a leather case.

I am not currently taking any custom orders. Feel free to make suggestions of what you would like to see in my shop but if you have design or time restrictions, I'm not able to take them right now.

Never leave a wood pen to soak in water. Wipe it off with a damp cloth and dry it well. Also avoid using cleaning products with ammonia which can damage the finish of the pen. When you dip the pen in ink, only allow the nib to submerse in the ink and not the entire flange. If ink dries inside the flange, it can be hard to remove the nib. Keep your custom pen out of direct sunlight and treat it with care.
