Listing is for one antique Victorian eagle claw-style brass (maybe bronze?) window lock. The Victorians really knew how adorn a house and the design of this lock reflects that in a big way. The lock is very sturdy and well made.
Size is 2 1/4 inches wide and front piece (the sweep) 1 1/4 inch deep while the back piece (the keeper) is 3/4 inch deep.
I cleaned off the many layers of paint and oiled the piece so it is in wonderful working condition.
The piece does not come with screws for installation but appropriate screws are widely available at hardware stores.
My items are vintage and antique and have aged and incurred some wear from years of use, as vintage items do. Please examine photos closely to understand the condition. In my inspection of the pieces, I have found them to be in excellent condition for their age. I base the age off my knowledge and experience with windows.
In most cases it will take me a day or two to get to the post office to mail items. If you are in urgent need of your item please let me know and I'll do my best to get it out the door sooner. Any rush orders causing an increase in postage over what I have listed will be the responsibility of the buyer.
I accept PayPal and credit/debit through paypal. I will not ship until I have a payment confirmation.
