FAQs

I put either PDF or ORIGINAL as the first word in the title so its super easy to tell! Please be aware of which kind you have purchased.

I am happy to accept returns if you change your mind about your pattern, although I am unable to pay return postage. In regards to cancellations, I have put in my policies that I don't accept them. This is because from Monday to Friday I ship the same day. My dad works night shifts for Royal Mail and he takes all the orders I've had for the day in with him. So if you ordered in the afternoon, and cancelled in the evening, there's a chance your order would have already been shipped. However, please feel free to message me if you need a cancellation. I will do it if I am able to.

At the moment domestic shipping costs a flat rate of £1.75. So no matter how many patterns you order, it will cost £1.75.

I ship worldwide! Costs will typically range from £3.80 to £5.10 depending on how far away you live. I use Royal Mail International Standard shipping. Royal Mail says this service takes 1-2 weeks to arrive but unfortunately it can sometimes take up to six weeks due to customs. My international shipping costs are a flat rate. I've tried to keep shipping as low as possible for most people, but unfortunately the flat rate won't cover everyone. If you place a large order that weighs more than 500g (It takes a lot of patterns to reach this) I may have to cancel your order and send you a shipping quote depending on the value of your order. If the extra cost of delivery doesn't eat into the profit too much, I'll mostly leave it as the flat rate.

Please allow up to 10 days for domestic and 6 weeks for international delivery, I know it's a long time but they do usually show up by then. If not, I'll give you a full refund. If your order has taken more than 5 days in the UK, or 3 weeks internationally. Please contact me and let me know if you can. I don't send anything tracked so I can't check the location of your parcel, but I can contact Royal Mail and ask if there are any big delays that may be causing problems. If its delayed at customs, please make yourself aware of your countries laws regarding tax and imports. You will likely have to pay tax and a handling fee. This money will go to your government. I am not responsible for these fees as they are out of my control.

I package my products as well as I possibly can but I do apologise if your pattern arrives damaged. Please contact me as soon as you get it and I will do my best to fix the problem for you. I'd like to remind you that the patterns I sell are vintage and used. Some of them will have small stains, tears and damage to the corners or spine. I take great care to describe all of the damage in the listing. I will not sell any pattern that has more than a few minor flaws and the level of damage will always be reflected in the price. Please read the listing! I don't want anybody to be disappointed that their order has arrived in the condition I described in the listing.
