Shipping & policies
We take shipping and handling of our furniture and home decor very seriously. We aim to make this part of our service just as exceptional as your items.
Shipping quotes are for Mainland USA ONLY.
**Our goal is to provide the most economical, safe, & timely shipping to our customers. Greyhound Package Express is great source for shipping furniture such as chairs, tables, and awkward shaped, fragile items and is our default method for such pieces. Greyhound insures items for $300. They do a wonderful job 99.9% of the time.
Our staff carefully packages up your item and its taken to our West Palm Beach, FL Greyhound facility for transport. Once it arrives in your town Greyhound will call you and you simply drive to your local station and claim your item. **Please allow at least 5 business days to prepare an item for shipping. Greyhound can take anywhere from 7-15 days for deliveries.
**If you prefer white glove shipping we use carriers for coast to coast delivery.
Please note cancellations are not accepted f you have purchased a large item which is to be delivered by a private shipper. Our shippers design their route according to the orders they have received. Thank you.,
We use FedEx for smaller items such as lamps and art and its insured for the full amount.
**Please note: We are not a shipping company. Unfortunately, we have no control on how long it takes Plycon, Greyhound, or FedEx to pick up and deliver your items. As soon as you purchase an item we are on the phone coordinating, packaging, and expediting the shipping process. If you want it delivered by a reputable company and in good condition it takes time and patience and that is what we strive for.
Refunds and Exchanges
We describe our items as accurately as possible. We offer high-end vintage at a great price. Once the item leaves our warehouse we cannot be responsible for how its handled. We package things very well for the journey. We purchase insurance and provide tracking numbers for most items. Please raise any questions or concerns before you place your order. Thank you!
Q: What if my item is damaged when it arrives?
A: If your item was damaged in transit do not accept it from the freight company. If it was damaged via FedEx or Greyhound (do this while at terminal) please take photos of the original packaging, your damaged item and let us know as soon as possible. The more detailed you are with photos the better chance we have in the claims process which we will expedite.
Q: What if I don't like my item or it is damaged?
A: If you don't like your item or if it is damaged please let us know within 24 hours of delivery date. You will be required to pay the return shipping charges if you are unhappy with it. Once we have received the item in its original condition we will issue a refund minus the shipping charges. If it is damaged we will work with you and the shipper. PLEASE INSPECT ITEMS AND CONTACT US WITHIN 48 hours of delivery (tracked).
Q: If something was damaged in transit will I get a refund?
A: If your item was damaged in transit we will expedite the claims process and you will be reimbursed by the shipping company. We have shipped hundreds of items and only had 5 items damaged in transit. That is why we use our trusted freight carriers.
Most everything we sell is considered "vintage" and therefore, has some age to it. That said, we strive to sell beautiful items and represent them as accurately as possible. These are not brand new pieces. If you need additional photos or more details on an item, please contact us so that you know what you are buying.
Please Note: International buyers are responsible for any customs, duties or other fees associated with importing items into their countries. International buyers please note that if your purchase is returned to us "unclaimed" then you are responsible for shipping the second time, as you were the first,if you so choose to have purchased item shipped again.
**Lighting: All lighting is sold as-is. Non-smoking dwelling
All items are sold AS IS vintage condition.
Lighting or anything electrical has been checked to make sure it works. However Vintage lighting or electrical items should be rewired by a professional before using. We are not responsible for any damage caused by using vintage electrical items sold on our site.
1) We sell VINTAGE items and strongly encourage you to inspect all photographs. No item is perfect. Vintage items often have minor dings and wear as a natural part of their age and provenance. We do our best to describe and document any flaws a piece may have, but there is no substitute for a first-hand examination. We provide the best photographs we can for accurate description. You may request photographs for more details via email (listed below) or send us a convo with your cell and we will text you additional photos. Also, many times we add photos to our FACEBOOK PAGE: MODERN LOGIC.
2) ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds, returns, or exchanges.
You may make your own shipping arrangements but you must contact us prior to purchase.

!!Normal FedEx AND USPS charges include UNSECURED DELIVERY. If you desire Signature Confirmation there is an extra charge. Please convo us your wishes.
Please note that we are not responsible for packages once they have been delivered by any shippers to the shipping address you have listed with Etsy.
Please convo prior to purchase so we can research the appropriate method which suits your needs and give you the correct quote of shipping/handling.
If you have purchased a large item and are handling the freight from your end; please have item shipped within 4 weeks or contact us if you need more time.
We do not store large items and must consider them abandoned if shipping arrangements are not carried out within said amount of time.

If payment has not been received, said item is relisted. Thank you.
STORAGE/ABANDONED ITEMS: Merchandise not picked up or shipped after 30 days will be considered "abandoned goods". Once you have paid for your item, please contact us immediately for shipping information and costs. We cannot store paid items. After 30 days; no refund, no credit if buyer has not made arrangements with us or a shipping company that we have proof of.
Direct Checkout, PAYPAL, Checks and Postal Money Orders.
With checks and money orders-each must clear prior to shipping and if check or money order is not received within 7 days purchase shall be canceled and relisted.

Returns & exchanges
All packages are tracked and once tracking shows "DELIVERED" we are not responsible for package. Please track your package so you are aware when it is to be delivered.
Shipping to mainland 48 states; all other areas are considered but on a one to one basis.
Please make sure prior to purchasing an item from our shop to read all the condition specifics and methods of shipping and how the shipping works. It is important that you zoom the pictures. Please understand that these are vintage items and very few are perfect. There is normal vintage wear to structures, patina, upholstery, etc. We want you to do this so that you will be satisfied with your purchase.

If you item is received damaged please SAVE all packaging; take photos of it all as well and convo within 48 hours of tracked delivery your order.
If item was shipped via Greyhound and is received damaged you MUST REPORT to the Greyhound clerk immediately before you leave their premises.
There will be no refunds on any items, so please read all "estimated" measurements and review all pictures carefully and ask any questions or concerns you might have before purchasing the item.
If the item is damaged during shipment, the SELLER IS NOT RESPONSIBLE! The shipper is a separate business and they are accountable for transporting the furniture in the same condition they picked it up in.

We am not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged items. We pack to protect. We are not responsible for items once they are placed in the hands of USPS, FED EX, UPS or Greyhound. Please contact within 48 hours of delivery of item, after 48 hours we are not responsible. Delivery is tracked.
Should your item arrive broken we need you to:
1. Keep all packaging materials and photograph them.
2. Photograph damaged item.
3. Convo us through our shop - NOT through our email.
4. We will place a claim with the shipper (FEDEX, UPS, USPS, ETC..) upon reimbursement you will receive payment via Paypal.
***Greyhound Package Xpress is handled directly between you and them. They reimburse you. They do not insure glass.

Please contact us within 48 hours of tracked delivery, full refunds will be issued if there was a major error on our part. Purchase price will be refunded minus shipping costs. We do not accept returns on large furniture items. . We will help facilitate shipping furniture to you. If your item is damaged in shipment, please keep all packaging and send pictures of damage, packing materials, boxes and label. We will fill out the claim for you and once the insurance claim is paid you will be issued a partial of full refund depending on the circumstance.
All items are of vintage quality. I try my best to display and describe any exceptional wear on piece. All sales are final. I provide excellent packaging and am not responsible for damage incurred during shipping. Please request insurance if you want it, depending on the price of the item, the extra insurance charge will vary.
We do offer lay-a-way on items over $100, please convo us to make arrangements.
Timely payments are appreciated, if you fail to make a payment your order will be canceled and re-listed, any payments received are retained for storage and inconvenience. All items are vintage and most are at least 20 yrs old. Please be aware that when an item is described as good or great condition this does not mean that it is brand new but in great condition for it's age, we try to describe any flaws we see.

Please note: if payments are not received within 4 days of invoice being emailed, item shall be relisted.
