Item details

Small-batch hand-dyed spinning fiber.

Fiber: 100% Corriedale Cross
Construction: Combed Top
Weight: 100 grams

Colorway: Laverock

This Corriedale is a cross, which means it has all the characteristics of a natural Corriedale wool but has been cross bred to create a softer wool. The Corriedale breed hails originally from Australia and New Zealand where farmers decided to cross Merino ewes with Lincoln or Leicester males. The average micron count for fibers is between 25 and 32.

Hand-dyed with professional acid dyes in small batches.

Fiber is rinsed after the dyeing process, however, minimal bleeding may still occur during the first couple of washes.

Although the utmost care is taken in portraying colorways accurately, color may vary from monitor to monitor.
