Item details

Pre- WWII FED 1 Type-1d 35mm camera. 1939-1941. This USSR Soviet made "Leica what-to-be" rangefinder is less common than the postwar type-1d manufactured through 1955. A direct copy of the Lecia IID. It has a pull-out, screw mount 50mm lens and a focal plane shutter. Shutter speeds up to 500. This example is in very good cosmetic condition, no pitting or rust. This optics are a bit hazy but not bad for a nearly 80 year old. It has a working rangefinder but the shutter does not cock and fire. UNTESTED, SOLD AS IS
I rate items A,B,C,D. (A+ would indicate mint condition) I rate this item a C. (vk580) 80/12

NOTE TO BUYERS: ITEMS SOLD AS IS. Returns and Refunds are possible and are handled on a case by case basis. I make every effort to show and make accurate descriptions of each item. Most cameras are untested with film do to the lack of availability of some film sizes and the unreliability of old and expired film and considering the age of many of the items for sale.
