Vintage Art Deco Brass Picture / Photo Frame Beveled Glass with Easel

The term Art Deco is derived from the name of the 1925 Paris exhibition that brought the style to worldwide attention: “Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes.” The star of that show was decorator Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann, who used finishes such as lacquer and eggshell, and exotic wood veneers like amboyna and palissander. His peers included glass designer René Lalique; the elegant interior designer Jules Leleu; Maurice Dufrène (neoclassical fluted chair and table legs are a keynote of his work); Paul Follot (signature details include gilt- and silver-leafing); the team of Süe et Mare (both were painters, and created sensuous pieces with curving, Rococo-esque elements); and André Groult (who loved voluptuous bombé forms).

This beautiful frame will hold a picture 3.5'' x 5.5''

Condition: Glass has unnoticeable small chips: one on right lower corner and one flew bite on a left upper side. Overall, very good.

Buy with confidence , please.

Our responsibility is to ship your order in a reasonable time frame and in the condition described. We can not control how your package is handled in transit. Therefore it is not our responsibility if the shipping carrier loses, drops, kicks or stomps on your package. Our responsibility to that package ends when we turn it over to the care of the carrier.
Ask about an insurance against loss, damage, or missing contents. Coverage is calculated based on the weight of the package or the value of the contents, whichever is less. For a fee, additional insurance may be available for Priority Mail International parcels containing merchandise.

If you are interested in shipping upgrades - including insurance against loss, damage, or missing contents, expedited shipping methods like USPS Priority Mail Express, USPS Priority Mail 2-Day, FedEx Express and Fed Ex 2Day - please convo me before purchase so the shipping cost can be adjusted accordingly.

Normally, orders will be packed and mailed within 2 business days of receiving payment. Please check to be sure your shipping address is current to ensure that packages are delivered to the right place. Parcel tracking numbers and estimated arrival dates are provided to customers as soon as items are shipped.

I typically use USPS First Class Mail, Parcel Select or Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation service. If you prefer UPS, FedEx, or another method.

When possible, I use recycled materials for shipping in an effort to be environmentally friendly. If this is not okay, please convo me in advance for new packaging.

A nonrefundable down payment of 50% is required at the time of purchase to hold the item. The balance is to be paid off in 30 days. If a payment has not been received after the initial 30 days there will be a late fee charge of $25 automatically added to the invoice. If you change your mind on this item you will still be able to apply what you paid towards another item in our shop.
Here are the steps to take in the layaway plan:

1) Purchase the item by choosing the payment method of "other" during checkout. You don't initially pay anything by checking out with the "other" method. Once we know where the item is shipping to we will send your first installment invoice via Paypal which will be 50% of the item cost + shipping + tax (if there are any).
2) You will then receive a second invoice in 30 days for the remaining balance.
