Item details

Make a bracelet that works up quickly using 2-drop peyote stitch.

Use these clearly written instructions with full-color illustrations and two different colors of beads to make a 2-drop peyote bracelet. Instructions are included for the "Xanadu" geometric motif based on a Mongolian tribal design and an easier 2-drop peyote pattern in two colors (a border and a ground). The bracelet clasp is a matching peyote-stitched button with a loop fastener.

Finished size: 6.5 to 8 inches or desired length to fit your wrist
Stitches used: 2-drop even-count peyote

This project is suitable for beginner and intermediate bead weavers. Every step is explained in detail and illustrated with full-color diagrams and photos.

Materials you will need: Two colors of Delica hex beads in size 8º, Japanese hex-cut seed beads in size 11º, size 11 beading needle, and 6 lb. Fireline thread. (NOTE: use Delica hex beads, not size 8º hex seed beads.) The instructions include complete information for 3 colorways (i.e., bead colors by name and number).

BONUS: You will also be able to download (free) our "Beading Tips and Techniques" and "Thread Matters" handouts (in a single PDF) to help you on your beading journey!
