Item details

Medicinal Visual. Cantamos.

Each bandana has been hand painted in Peru by Amazonian Shipibo indigenous women using plant dyes. This is a design called Kéné and represents the Icaro, or medicine song pattern. Each piece is unique and beautiful, and there are slight variations in the patterns. They are beautiful as table centers or alter pieces, for use in ceremony. Alternatively they can be worn as bandanas and are great for the Playa or festival season.

Know that you are supporting Amazonian Indigenous Women when you purchase, as well as small business. Know that these designs hold great spiritual songs of the Amazon.

Size: approx 14"x14" (varies slightly, may be small to wear as bandana for a man).

This is a beautiful, handkerchief sized altar cloth. It is perfect for a small portable altar. Color and design is wonderful
