This is a slice of Seymchan. A beautiful stony Iron meteorite that is older and rarer than diamonds!

Seymchan is classified as a stony iron pallasite. This meteorite was first found in 1967, by a geologist F. A. Mednikov in the Magadan district of Russia. Originally, two large pieces, weighing 272 kilograms and 51 kilograms were discovered. New material was found in an expedition in 2004 .

yes, the meteorites can rust. These meteorites are 90 percent iron, so they might rust over a period of time. I have done a few things to prevent them from rusting.
I have coated the meteorites in a crystal clear krylon lacquer. This protects the meteorite from any moisture.
Now if it does rust, you can always return it to me and I will fix it free of charge. Even if the piece rust 20 years from now, I would still fix the piece for free. All I ask if you pay the shipping charges.
