Single tiny red flowers on this mini Fuchsia bloom in early summer to early August. Lottie Hobby has oval, green leaves and produces fruits after the flowers are done. Prune back dead or broken branches in spring, especially on plants that were left outside in areas with mild winters. Cooler summer temperatures make Fuchsias a favorite for the Pacific Northwest. Does not tolerate drought, high humidity, or high summer heat. Undemanding and easy to keep from year to year indoors when grown in a pot. The flowers and berries are edible but not appetizing. Hummingbirds can't resist this one.
