This plant looks very similar to the true Baby Tears but is not related even closely. Pilea depressa 'Baby Tears' is a native of Mexico and Brazil, and although it looks like a Baby Tears the leaves of Pilea depressa are a little larger, rounder and fleshier. Pilea depressa 'Baby Tears' is a wonderful plant for a terrarium or fairy garden. It can hold up in the humid environment of a terrarium and also does well exposed to normal house humidity. It looks great in a hanging basket outdoors in part shade or sun as long as the temperatures remain above 70°. Pilea depressa 'Baby Tears' is easy to prune to keep under control. Grow in moist soil.

Got everything fast. Looks like healthy plant. However, it also looks as if the plant I got was, in fact, a part of larger "mother" plant and was simply separated from "mother" plant and stuffed into pot with some soil, roots look ok though. So, hopefully, it will recover and start growing.
