Stoneware Nugget Bead Mix, Stoneware Nuggets, Green blue beads, Bead set, OOAK bead mix, nugget beads, multicolor beads, textured beads
I formed these nuggets out of a stoneware clay and applied an interesting texture. Next I glazed with a variety of green and blue glazes full of multicolored crystals which deposited themselves in a unique fashion in order to form these multicolored beads.

I make all ceramic beads in my home studio here in Fort Worth. I make small batches of various shapes, sizes, and textures.
Each batch of beads fires differently because I fire my kiln outside. Between the barometric pressure and humidity/temperature fluctuations, duplications of batches are rare.
Each batch of beads I create are unique. I typically work with multiple clay types: a white stoneware, a porcelain, a red clay, and a brown clay and sometimes I mix these up to get new clay bodies.
Each glaze will take on the color of the clay to some degree and so the same glaze will look different on each clay body.
I also tend to mix colors much like a water-colorist (which I used to do before pottery) so the glazes rarely look similar unless the beads are from the same batch.
So if you see a bead which you love, purchase all you can from that batch because that wonderfulness may not ever happen again.
